Hi guys,

We have a video of a new feature in the works.  Click and drag building.  Looks pretty awesome.  Hold the right mouse button down, you will see one wire frame block, that is point A, move you around and you will see the wire frame grow, now release the mouse at point B.  You have now built a path of blocks from point A to B.

    Don’t like it. Part of AoS was fighting over key buildings that took a while to set up, very intense, very focused fighting. 

    Every feature you add in is making it worse! What happened to the WW1 styled shooter that was 0.22?

    I really don’t like this idea. Please do not implement this. Not only would it ruin the spirit and realism of the game, but it would make it extremely easy to grief. Imagine servers filled with entire lines of dirt just suspended in mid-air. Yeah. Please don’t do this.

    Keep it ww1/ww2, Mortars are cool,but no killstreaks and  this click and drag is not good,

    this would make “SMG and Shotgun’s block destroying” meaningless,
    it’s suck. and ruin gameplay.
    it would also make “Fast Bunker in Enemy terriotory” strategy, and victims must say “Fuck!!”

    The game was boring before you added the updates. I couldn’t play it for more than 10 minutes. This would be great, I don’t get how this is all “COD” or whatever everyone else is commenting. I would assume the only people who dislike this idea are the ones commenting. Everyone else probably likes it.

    I have a suggestion for this. Could it be possible to implement so it doesn’t just automatically pop them all down and takes a bit to place all of them, and if you left the blocks it would stop building. You could conveniently place blocks and not be open to attacks, yet it still wouldn’t make it impossible to take out dug in enemies.

    It’s a good idea, but is a bit “overpowered” in its’ current state as i see it.
    If it took a half second for each placed block to go down, i would happily approve!

    It’s awesome idea-it does ruin the feel of the game, but it would help out a lot in the middle of attacking the enemy. Only problem is how far can it go?!?! Can it go forever? Cause if it does they’ll be tons of little lines of blocks going off walls to the next, crossing huge valleies! :S I think it should ATLEAST be so that the block range only goes to 5 or 8 blocks so it doesn’t get stupid crazy! :D

    No opinion about the click ‘n’ drag until I see it in practice, but don’t forget the game is UNREALISTIC and doesn’t represent any conflict. Do you think that in WW1 or WW2 the whole world was made up of blocks and soldiers magically pulled them out of their pocket and built fortifications in seconds?
